On September 25, 2006, I announced my candidacy for the position of Councillor at Large. I have a vision to create a strong, efficient and effective municipal government that will ensure a better quality of life for all citizens of the City of Thunder Bay.

My priorities are:

• LEADERSHIP AND VISION, THROUGH COURAGE, INTEGRITY, KNOWLEDGE, AND A STRATEGY OF COOPERATION AND INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THUNDER BAY AND REGION.
  
• JOB CREATION, THROUGH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH
  
• FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND LOW TAXATION WHILE MAINTAINING SERVICES AND INFRASTRUCTURE
  
• HEALTH CARE AND THUNDER BAY’S REGIONAL ROLE
